About Us
At Target Car Supermarket it is our company mission to provide you with a vehicle suitable for your wants and needs, and to provide you with a service and if applicable, finance acceptance that is the best you can achieve. We pride ourselves on offering you all of the information for you to make an informed decision, providing you support throughout the process, so you feel comfortable and confident with your choices and helping you drive away in the quickest time achievable!
We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority; our firm reference number is 917901. We act as a credit broker, not a lender.

Credit Searches and finance options
By submitting your application for finance to ourselves, you are allowing us to submit your details to a third parties for the purpose of obtaining you finance. These parties will carry out credit searches on your information. Your details will be checked with fraud prevention agencies, if any false or incorrect information is passed to us and this is found to be fraudulent, details will be passed along to the fraud prevention agencies. If you do not wish to provide your consent for us to pass your details on, please do not submit an application.
Lenders that your details are passed to will provide us with a finance acceptance, decline or require further information to make you a decision. We will make you aware of all decisions and provide you with the information you require to make an informed choice. Please note that Target Car Supermarket or any of its employees will not advise or recommend you choose a specific option. Our team will always strive to gain you the best possible acceptance and rate that fit your current circumstance, and your chosen vehicle. All finance is subject to status.
Please note that we may receive a commission for introducing your details to a lender. This is fixed and will not impact the rate provided. You will not be charged a fee for using our services to try to obtain finance. We are only able to provide you with either a Hire Purchase or Conditional Sale agreement, our team will be happy to talk you through the features of this agreement should you have any questions.
Credit gained through us is only available on cars supplied by Target Car Supermarket.
Documentation
We will ask you to supply us with documentation in order to confirm and evidence your identity – this is a Driving Licence and Proof of Income. We have the right to request further information at any time. For full details on how this information is stored, please do consult our privacy policy.
Vehicle Checks, Warranty and GAP
Please note that we require ALL customers to test drive the vehicle they are interested in prior to purchasing.
We complete thorough checks on our vehicles to ensure they are of the highest standard for our customers. All vehicles will be MOT’d and also include a 3-month in-house warranty. Should you have the need to use this warranty, we ask you to contact us using the above details. Should you wish to purchase an extended warranty, we are able to provide you details of an AA warranty, however you are also free to purchase your own.
We do not offer GAP insurance; however, we do encourage our customers to research this product to see if it could potentially benefit you in the future during your finance agreement.
